St. Patty's Day Play

Because I'll be too afraid to leave my apartment on St. Patty's Day, I thought I might celebrate this special holiday by getting all cozy and reading a swell little play...

Suggestions? What's the best Saint Patrick's Day read?

Can I get some Dion Boucicault up in here? For best drinking alone results, read 19th century Irish melodrama aloud. I mean. So I've heard. I mean....http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Shaughraun

Great tip, DJK. I do like the sound of that.

Angela, I was thinking Playboy of the Western World as well. Riots occured during nearly every performance back in the day.

According to Wikipedia, Arthur Griffith called the 1907 opening "a vile and inhuman story told in the foulest language we have ever listened to from a public platform."

I'll be the judge of that!
